We want to make your design as hassle
free as possible. It always gives us an advantage to
keep the costs down if you know what you are looking
for. But if you don't our team of designers are here
to help.
Keeping it Simple!
We realise that many of our clients like to create their
own artwork so follow this brief guide before supplying
us with your artwork.
1. First off always give us a call
and check that we have the applications to open the
file you have created/creating.
2. Make sure all of your images are at 300dpi (dots
per inch). If they are lower than this it will result
in blurred or pixelated prints. Try not to get images
off the internet as these are saved at 72 dpi.
3. Check all of your images are in CMYK and not RGB.
As a rule we can remedy this but CMYK images are always
preferable especially if you are creating a PDF file.
4. Ensure that if you want an image to be printed
right to the edge of a finished item you supply us
with what is called bleed. This means you add an extra
2mm all around the actual size of your existing document.
This will avoid any white adges on the final document.
